The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 简陋且不知所云的故事，人物都非常的贫瘠，唯一值得说的只有美术设计了。
封控在上海的第47天看，太讽刺了，魔幻......
为什么要加入那么多婚外情戏份，我想看的是精妙绝伦的战争故事！
导演童心犹存，但本片绝非灵感之作。立意流于平凡，美术实在简陋。想象也始终缺乏，成片终于勉强。是电视剧的话还可以原谅，电影质感从缺。仿佛是导演自己才华的宫殿ceiling上的一个“巨型漏洞。
依然典型的热内风格，恶趣味的狂想曲，这次是密室型话唠片。从模仿人类情感、掌握幽默到突破人与机器的界限，反客为主，逼人类出演《直立搞笑猿人》，可最终还是因为对人类的“全面模仿”导致自己的灭绝，十分具有讽刺性。不过未来倒真的可能是人工智能和极右翼人类一起竞争领导权。
这么有故事的故事，拍成这么没情节的情节，真是个遗憾。
想象力很丰富，画面也不错，啪啪取暖也是很搞笑
