The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一部平庸的小清新同性影片，既不够生动，也谈不上深刻。
十分精致的实景舞台剧，对白，走位，布景都是舞台剧风格，只有更精美的构图属于导演，但是对于½的科恩，这点也完全不够啊

看得很享受很投入，可始终因为是莎剧的优秀底子，我看法鲨那实景版也是同样感受。但舞台戏剧电影，基里科的场景再黑白简约化，通过背台词和念台词，就能实现主题升华吗？德国表现主义就需要当下去重复致敬吗？实在不可能也没必要。更因为出自依赖剧本的科恩之手，再减一分。还是希望多些拉尔夫费恩斯版《科里奥兰纳斯》这类、把场景彻底至于当代新闻实景的莎改作品。
剧本在多次翻拍后已然没有过多新意，只能靠风格化的摄影与表演去突破，然而破不开原作的壁垒无疑又让当下的观众感到沉闷且繁缛。

「黑白电影年年有，二〇二一尤其多。」不得不称赞一句，镜头布局可太爱了，戏剧改编也真就很drama。

啥时候咱们也能把《牡丹亭》《窦娥冤》《长坂坡》《葬花吟》翻来覆去地拍，啥时候咱才是真的站起来了吧
黑白冷峻的舞台剧风格，比恐怖片更恐怖。
题材多匮乏才又来折腾麦克白啊？！摄影什么的都很棒，黑白影像和“悲剧”也很搭，可是故事太家喻户晓了，实在也玩不出什么花样了。倒是丹泽尔·华盛顿和弗兰西丝·麦克多蒙德演技很过人。
雖然數字黑白的影像氣質始終無法跟膠片對比（同比同樣是 A24 出品的《燈塔》就是天壤之別），但好在美學風格和攝影扳回一城。柯恩嫂和女巫的表演真好。這個故事現在來看和現實的互文感強到令人頭皮發麻。
