The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 911事件导致的连锁反应，人与人在危难之中的互助充分反映了人性光芒，政治立场就不太好评价了，毕竟是美国主旋律舞台剧。
2001至2021，世界变了又好像没变。先不说这样的美式主旋律正能量和国内作品的立意高下问题，100分钟的舞台演绎中，完全打破了传统音乐剧的情节和幕次、空间与场景、台词与唱段的界限，让技术完全为艺术表达服务，就很赞！

个人认为是最适合pandemic时期的一部剧，去年的时候也一直听着something's missing，毕竟疫情给我们带来的变化太多了，原本去年能在国内巡演，现在也遥遥无期。再加上官摄是在宽街重开的时候录的，台下的观众和台上的精彩演出，才更好地共同造就一部好的音乐剧，看得我真的是止不住的泪与笑。(所以真的没必要老想着拍电影版，搞个官摄出来该去剧院还是会去看的🙄)
设计太好了，太巧妙了。圆形旋转舞台、冷暖灯光交替，一小群人演绎了两地许许多多的故事
19年买了票，20年全部演出取消，21年终于看到，大家都是来自远方，也欢迎远方。

看到IMDB的评分挺高，就下载了，原来又是一部和911相关的作品。中文字幕。
真人真事改编的歌剧，主题很棒，但是单就故事性来讲有些平淡了，令人并不内心激动，歌曲也就还好，分三次看完了，看得有点困
在911二十周年之际、疫情之后的今天看这次官摄比第一次旁观者的视角更能感同身受。第一首歌开始就想哭，焦虑、无助恐惧和不安到被治愈，全程跟唱的Me and the Sky，还是好喜欢CFA。遗憾2020年因为疫情没办法成行的巡演，still “honor what was lost，but we also commemorate what we found”。
2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。
好治愈，好好哭，人和人之间的善意和温暖，人性光辉美好的一面，好温暖啊
我们可以看到人类最大的善意闪光的同时也能不逃避自私与阴暗面，但是总是向善的。不回避创伤与痛苦的作品才是真正伟大的！这是一部没有任何理解壁垒的片子!太棒了
