The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 拿着假想的幻象，层层累加的前置条件来呈现所谓“爱”与“治愈”，终究是舍本逐末，本末倒置。

导演是为了废墟救人的一段爬行戏所以特地找无骨人Ivar来演的吗
英军轰炸哥本哈根盖世太保总部时，误炸了修女院的事件。一个普普通通的面包，需要用圣水解毒才能吃下去的年代。当妈妈长跑穿过整个城市爬上几个楼层回家开门看到女儿在吃早上没有吃的粥的时候，双腿再也无法支撑紧绷了一天的身体而瘫坐到地板。愿世界和平！
眼睛看着屏幕上的画面 脑海中浮现的却是新闻里乌克兰那个清晰标注着满是女人孩子的教堂被轰炸的画面 两个画面重叠着 此刻却突然听见那个小男孩开口说话了 一切的感知交织在鼻喉处 瞬间集聚了泪水 是的 上帝打盹了 片中的修女孩子们和乌克兰的百姓才会没有被眷顾吧。不过如果以这几个人物为主线拍成该历史背景下的短片应该会更好 冲击力会更强
宋康昊这部戏里的表现真的值得拿戛纳影帝？？
撼动灵魂的故事，只想说愚蠢的人类，可怜的孩子们！
3.5分，怎么说呢。。。。高情商:是枝裕和本土化做得真好。低情商:感觉这是一部随意一个韩国导演都能导出来的电影。真的没有什么特别，拍的当然不差能看得进去也能同情，但不知道为什么这个故事放到韩国拍就有些矫情。
电影有着一个无比震撼的开头，知道真相的你，也会像那个小男孩一样，张开口，却什么也说不出。战机低空飞行的镜头和平民日常作息交错进行着，给人一种无形的压迫感。虽然轰炸后的抢救工作，显得有些刻意和主旋律式的拔高立意，但结合最近的乌克兰局势，仍然不失为一部反战倡何的佳片。战争就是战争，就算它是正义的，也会带来阴影，而且，对于受害者来说，永远不会消散。
掩埋在地下室的小孩从有声变成无息，也没有等到上帝的出现。
如果有上帝，如果它依著自己的樣子造的我們。那爲什麽我們有這麽多戰爭，爭鬥。上帝是否有能力創造另一個上帝？如果可以，兩個上帝是否會打起來還是和平共處？
【3.0】看下来并没有感到特别震撼，究其因是导演对整个事件的回溯缺乏犀利有效的切入点，说白了就是太流水账的第三人视角的剧作思路。好在整部电影骨子里的好莱坞电影化的叙事节奏是精准的，从前期剑拔弩张危机亟待爆发的紧张气氛营造，到结局停留在小女孩喝粥的镜头设计，一切都安排得刚刚好，因而观影大抵能融情于故事之中。
美好瞬间首尾相连，是死亡发生的征兆，在时间轴上做的多点透视散点，缺点是在于人物上失焦，好处则是群像提供了更丰富的采光，真的非常喜欢这部影片，尤其几个孩子刻画得无与伦比，一头一尾互文相得益彰，导演还有一部高分剧集1864，务必找来验证一下再做分享
就是主题设置与人物上都走了下坡路
