The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 观影体验很别扭，完全没有情感共鸣，人设是大问题，人物行为逻辑理想化到就像去领千万彩票大奖的路上又中了百万大奖，剧情发展想到哪写到哪的游离感，凹出来的催泪戏份显得十分无力，最后就只剩咩的眼泪还在敬业地流淌着。
这都什么年代了，本子还拍这种片，也不怕被冲烂？
她却表现出了对孩子出奇的包容与爱
强行催泪，也是累了。看到十元的大牙花子怎么也没有代入感，下次不要找这种美人系的女优演苦命妈妈了好吗…

不要试图用癌症情节的天然悲情性来掩盖前面所有一切尴尬和奇葩的三观。这是十元女士的笑最让我厌恶的一次。没看过原著，在想这也能成为畅销书岛国人是有多二次元了呢……
以及 非要把大活人女主当个棒子接力，难道是因为她没成年就结婚了吗
我禁不住疑惑，拍这个是在反讽优子变态？还是歌颂人间自有真情在？？狗血剧情。别扯什么大女主，女权了。脑残片来一瓶。
所以从来都觉得亲情和血缘并没有什么特别直接的关系。
有三位爸爸两位妈妈的小朋友嘤嘤酱的不完满但幸福的的人生。剧本挺一般的，角色塑造也怪怪的，要不是因为颜值过于能打，石原里美就像个偷孩子的怪阿姨。我咩也是，开始是个被霸凌的小可怜，却因为同学知道她没爸没妈就突然向她伸出橄榄枝…不过，总之都是非常善良的人啦，希望真实的世界就是这样的就好了。不过一大噱头石原里美和咩酱演母女虽然但是并没有同框过啊…骗人！
虽然觉得有不少不合理之处，但真的好哭，森永爸爸线最好哭，芽郁仙女落泪技能太强！
穿制服的木村拓哉太帅了，恭喜长泽雅美晋升LA，希望这个系列能继续拍下去！😤
实不相瞒我就是来看咩酱的，从影片中的造型变化也可以直接对比看出她真的不适合扮幼齿扮可爱的角色形象和性格，反而是烫起卷发造型更好看，走类似绫濑遥的戏路，展现她的温暖包容、又不失活泼灵动的成熟女性的感觉。本片里那梨花带雨的哭戏也是看个够了。剧情方面只能说能看，石原里美的角色没有进行深入的演绎和挖掘让这个接力故事变得过于童话，也让对这个角色稍稍思考过的观众都难以理解她的自私与她历任丈夫对她的包容的不配位。小女孩时期的女主角也好可爱啊~
前半段蛮好看，还有点奇幻感。后面煽情起来就匪夷所思了
刻意煽情，效果不佳。甚至让我觉得有点讽刺的是打着爱的旗号做出了欺骗和丢弃等等举动的母亲仍然是优子最爱的妈妈。与其这样用不孕不育和绝症来洗白，还不如就塑造一个真正的渣女，以此来烘托后两个父亲的真心。永野芽郁的哭戏比笑容更自然。十元的形象简直就是失恋巧克力职人的性格加上了校阅女孩的打扮，十元女士你再这样下去演技和形象已经要完全固化毫无新意了。
德彪西的曲风有一种柠檬草的味道（百分百外行胡言乱语）咩确实可爱极了很适合她 想去游乐园吃鲷鱼烧和章鱼小丸子 “我绝对不和小咪分开！” 别造美女的谣行不行！人生就是互相羡慕的人生 得非所愿愿非所得是贯穿一生的主题 好配好配好配好配好配好配 面包屁股炫我嘴里 果然不能相信任何人说的永远呢 高考合格套餐（）面包超人进行曲原来是伤心的前奏 爱自己就好了 真是最强魔女 未来不可避免地降临了 烟花啊烟花啊烟花啊 可爱地结束了 喜欢
劇情裡面的每一個男人都很莫名。石原里美來當我的繼母吧，我好愛嗚嗚嗚
优子为什么这么喜欢梨花呢？她热情、大方、漂亮、活泼、性格好，很多点原以为她会生气没耐心，没想到翻个身起来带优子在床上游泳，因为优子想学钢琴，就硬着头皮去求人。一开始有些疑惑，宣传十元演咩酱的妈妈，但两个人从未同框，甚至怀疑这会不会根本就是两条故事线。优子在毕业祭的时候和樱樱不断重合，在歌声中森宫先生落下的眼泪和梨花的背影有够犯规。原来优子被人欺负了也只会傻笑是因为妈妈说过只要笑的话好运就会降临。最后梨花在遗照上笑得灿烂，三位父亲两位母亲在礼堂一起送心爱的女儿出嫁。但是！为什么！冈田健史这么出戏啊！果然我爱的只是黑岩晶。
这情节。。。太童话，世俗久了我无法相信。我只能说这些爸爸都是好人。。。
啥剧情啊…………真的有人会被这感动吗…………
