相比于柏林的《忍者宝宝》和戛纳的《钛》，这部拿下威尼斯金狮的怀孕题材作品显得更加压抑和稳重，不使用隐喻和概念来包装，不尝试调剂氛围，以极其真实的镜头来书写一位六十年代女学生非法堕胎的全程经历，这样扑面而来的严肃令人喘不过气，奥黛丽·迪万将镜头脂质怼到安娜玛丽亚茫然痛苦的面孔上，一部极具时代性的作品，大概在女性文化史上会留下属于她们的位置。
