The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 漫威不用每次都为了几分钟彩蛋去拍几小时的正片。
还是那个预告骗，家人、爱人、朋友、敌人，反复横跳。
5/10 亚非拉人民手牵手反殖民反封建反帝跨多地大联欢晚会，表演节目中不仅有各地人民耳濡目染的《尼伯龙根的指环》、《孙悟空被压五指山》、《玛雅帝国覆灭记》、《宝莱坞的星三代》，还有大家乐于见到的《亚瑟王的传说》以及《土行孙和猩红王子星际奇遇记》，甚至还有儿童节目《我想长大》，多种族多题材多跨界多博爱，你想拥有什么就有什么，赵女士鸡贼得好，“你深爱的一样东西，就会保护它”，所以你就想反驳，一时竟无语凝噎。
整部片子都像是赵婷的自我拉扯，既想要深度又想要幽默，代价就是不伦不类还牺牲了叙事，可以看出赵婷对白左的偏执已经了病态的地步，甚至丧失了无依之地里的个人风格，一部片里集齐黑gay，残疾人，亚裔，拉丁裔，trans，白女＆男导致每个人物都扁平得一塌糊涂，更像是为了达成zzzqkpi的拼盘电影，至于最被诟病的广岛忏悔更是突兀的让人摸不着头脑，咱不能用拍文艺片的方式去拍爆米花啊，如果非要说一个值得夸的点就是美术设计吧，至少让观影过程不那么痛苦了（ps:从pf到套团，赵婷对音乐的审美好像遭受了降维打击）
但是因为同期有《沙丘》这样的史诗与这样一部伪史诗做对比真的差距一下就出来了。
从名同的瑟曦，大反派的斯塔克独狼，还有隐藏彩蛋的SNOW,那些熟悉的美剧演员出现在漫威宇宙，让人看得恍如已经开始冰火之歌的20年重聚。
在视角和态度中，这群神既不俯视又不仰望，穿梭在土地和文明之中，口口声声地把热爱挂在嘴边，只令人感到虚伪。
至于日裔编剧书写，华裔导演力排众议加入的广岛原子弹片段，Chloé Zhao可真行（贬义）
还真不是曲高和寡，调门儿挺高，曲可不高。这比爵迹能强多少啊，要是给郭敬明这么多钱我觉得他也能拍。
还挺好看的，但Arishem为什么一定是人形？可以提议让Arishem变成猫么？
几个出场人物都挺帅的 毕竟是漫威出品大场面必须酷炫屌 配乐不管多贵都给我用上 剧情嘛就…简直政治正确到令人发指 超人投日自杀的选择也雷到我了
全程我都在想导演可太爽了吧全世界跑着拍，卡司还包含了我花痴多年的gemma chan（不过她表演比较underwhelming，太克制了）和jolie，且没有任何大油子。羡慕。之前以为是个throwaway，现在看来是漫威的下一个大团体哎，居然这么信任她！anyway这种budget这种IP，居然还是能拍出不少自己的味道，我对她前一部的厌恶减轻了不少。没想到居然还挺适合拍这种商业大片的。整体很饱满，喜欢多元设定。节奏不拖沓，只是不着急而已。对我个人来讲可看性远高于传统超英。
特效其实挺适合电影院的，不过漫威说不准进入广电黑名单了，蜘蛛侠应该也无了。
一部注定审美隔离两极分化的作品。对于永生题材爱好者的我而言，片中对文明与人类群像的描写可谓是戳中G点，能在两个半小时内讲清楚一个超英群像剧，还不缺镜头的磅礴与漫威式插科打诨的诙谐，无法想象这是《无1之地》的导演手下的作品，应该说是整个电影工业的威力。一众从权力的游戏/行尸走肉里过来的演员，配上拉民贾瓦迪的音乐，仿佛在电影院里看了一出串戏美剧。罗柏史塔克和囧雪诺一口一个“瑟曦我爱你”，还是有点超现实了。
有点合成感。她充满美感的镜头原本对准了真实的人物和情景，如今没了这份真实去平衡唯美主义带来的矫情，便显得空虚，连广岛的废墟也带不来原本期待的震撼与苍凉。
对CZ而言作业算是过及格线了但问题真不是一点一滴而是密密麻麻。1，最初的编剧表兄弟二人是怎么靠几乎零经验拿到这么大项目的？好奇哈。2，CZ加入之后带上了自己手笔，还有加了犹如美剧剧本规定一样的各色非白肤演员，白男多少都吃不消这种2亿成本爽片无high点的写法吧～3，真替gemma chan和亚裔高兴，首次有亚裔女主救地球，耶。4，一众演员都好成这样偶尔还有小的指导问题，白送分啊！5，缺点们：配乐像是被减了经费，或者有人不常听音乐？重要的决定结尾的爱情戏份总共就3/4幕，五千年好歹多几个场景不要总回闪同样的？剧情总体节奏过慢，而且不停幼儿园…我也是忍啊忍，怪兽戏份刚让人觉得有意思，就嘎然掐死…我…有几个还没死的人物也没有写好，无法理解…哎…就这样吧无论怎样，亚裔被抬起都是好事，但千万别摔着～
很不一样的漫威电影，彷佛周游世界，感觉还不错。但出于影片以外考虑，它不值得高分。

对于作为一部本质上是商业电影来说，还算可以，优缺点都很明显，最后的转折真是太生硬了
如果仅是这样这片还可以三星，但是全片满满的“叠buff”配置，加上“广岛之跪”更给人生理上的不适。尤其聋哑女闪电侠这个角色，就像整个片子主创给人的感觉一样，高高在上的刻意，自以为照顾众生，理解一切。恶心。
